MINERVA GLORIA Crude oil Aframax tanker ship interrupted her voyage Venezuela to Germany and headed for Azores, Seaman request 47 years old Greek Captain falling seriously ill, in need of immediate medical assistance.
In the afternoon Feb 24 Captain was medevaced by Portugal Air Force helicopter in challenging weather conditions, and was transferred to hospital in Ponta Delgada. Tanker continued her voyage.
