Aframax Crude oil tankership MINERVA GLORIA interrupted her voyage from Venezuela to Germany and headed for Azores, reporting 47-year old Greek Master falling seriously ill, in need of immediate medical assistance. In the afternoon Feb 24 Master was medevaced by Portugal Air Force helicopter in challenging weather conditions, and was transferred to hospital in Ponta Delgada. Tanker continued her voyage.
